About Hairstyle Ideas
Hairstyle Ideas shows men's and women's haircuts from every angle, and gives each one a brief that says exactly what to ask your barber or stylist for: the length on top, the sides, the fringe, the styling and how it grows out.
Who makes it
Hairstyle Ideas is made by Awan Forge, a studio that designs and builds websites, web apps, mobile apps and brand identities.
How the briefs and guides are written
Each brief describes the cut the way a barber or stylist works: the top, then the sides and back, the fringe, the styling and the grow-out. Lengths are given in centimetres and inches, and clipper sizes as guard numbers with the length each leaves, using the manufacturer's published chart. Every guide shows the date it was last updated and names the sources it relies on.
