Short haircuts for men
Short cuts that keep their shape between visits. Each one shows the photo, who it suits and what to ask your barber for.
Short cuts differ most in how the sides are cut. The Buzz Cut is one length all over, here a number 2, and needs no styling. The Crew Cut keeps about 2 cm on top at the front over sides tapered short with no skin. The Low Taper Fade takes only the sideburns and the neckline short and leaves the rest of the sides alone, while the Low Fade takes the sides to skin from just above the ear.
The two crops are worn forward. The Textured Crop point-cuts its top so it looks choppy, over a mid fade, and the French Crop brushes its top into a blunt fringe cut in one straight line. Both take about two minutes with a little matte clay.
Short cuts need the barber often. The Low Fade and the Crew Cut need a trim every two to three weeks, the Buzz Cut every two to four, and the Low Taper Fade and both crops every three to four.
