Textured Crop
Short • Low Maintenance
The Textured Crop point-cuts the top and fringe so they look choppy, where the French Crop's fringe is one blunt line.
A French crop is a short men's haircut with the top brushed forward into a blunt fringe cut in one straight line, over faded sides. It is neater than a textured crop, whose fringe is choppy. It is also called a Caesar cut, and it takes under two minutes to style.
The French crop is defined by its fringe: the top is brushed forward and cut straight across in one clean line above the eyebrows. The sides are faded short, so the fringe is the only line on the head. The top stays short and fairly smooth, which makes it one of the quickest cuts to style. The fringe line softens after three to four weeks.
“A French crop: short top brushed forward, blunt fringe cut straight across just above my eyebrows, faded sides.”
The fringe and the fade soften after three to four weeks.
