Short haircuts for women

Short cuts from the bob to tapered natural cuts, with the photo, who each one suits and what to tell your stylist.

Short here means above the jaw. The Classic Bob is one length at the jaw with blunt ends and no layers, for straight or wavy hair, and takes about five minutes with a round brush. The other three are natural-hair cuts: the Short Natural Afro is an even 2 to 3 cm rounded to the head, the Tapered Natural Cut keeps coils on top and tapers the sides and nape, and the Tapered Curly Fro keeps about 8 cm of defined curls on top over tapered sides.

Short cuts need the stylist more often. A taper loses its shape first: the Tapered Natural Cut needs a trim every three to four weeks, and the Tapered Curly Fro and the Short Natural Afro every four to six. The Classic Bob keeps its line for six to eight weeks before it grows into a lob.
