Medium-length hairstyles for women
Lengths between the jaw and the shoulders. Compare layers, texture and upkeep side by side.
Medium length runs from the jaw to the shoulders, and the cuts here differ most in their layers. The Lob is a long bob ending between the jaw and the collarbone with softly textured ends. The Wolf Cut puts short, choppy layers at the crown and around the face, with the longest hair at the back. The Curly Shag starts its layers at the cheekbone and adds curtain bangs, Curly Layers sit at the shoulder in a rounded shape, and the Rounded Afro picks about 10 cm of coils into an even round silhouette.
The cuts last six to twelve weeks between trims: Curly Layers ten to twelve, the Lob eight to ten, and the Curly Shag, the Wolf Cut and the Rounded Afro six to eight. Two styles are here as well. Two-Strand Twists are put in by a stylist and last two to four weeks; the High Puff is done at home in five to ten minutes.
