Privacy
Hairstyle Ideas has no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising. This page lists what the site keeps on your device and what its server records.
Kept on your device
Saved styles, your compare list and your saved face shape are stored in your browser. They are never sent to us.
hsi.saved(local storage): the styles you saved, by name.hsi.compare(local storage): the styles you picked to compare, by name.hsi.faceShape(local storage): the face shape you saved, such as “oval”.hsi.audience.*(session storage, cleared when you close the tab): whether you chose men's or women's photos on a style page.
To remove them, take styles off your saved list or compare list, or clear this site's data in your browser settings.
Photos in the face-shape estimator
The face-shape estimator measures your photos in your browser tab. The photos are never uploaded, stored or logged. The measuring model is loaded from hairstyleideas.co only when you start an estimate. If you save the result, only the shape name is kept, as listed above.
What our server records
Like most web servers, ours writes a line to its access log for each request: your IP address, the date and time, the page address, the response status, the page you came from and your browser's name and version. We use the logs to keep the site working and secure, for example to find errors and see which pages search engines cannot reach. Logs are deleted after 14 days.
Google Search Console shows us search totals for the site, such as how often a page appeared and was clicked. It does not tell us who searched.
