The look in one line

A high puff: all my hair gathered at the crown with a soft band, edges smoothed, the puff round and full.

Front
Gathered at the crown, coils left full.
Sides
Brushed up and back smoothly, without pulling the edges tight.
Back
Smoothed up to the band.
You need
Dampen and moisturise, gather with a fabric band, smooth the edges with a little gel, fluff the puff. Five to ten minutes.
Lasts
Lasts the day; sleep in a satin bonnet to redo it quickly.
