The look in one line

A smooth high ponytail at the crown, tie wrapped with hair.

Steps

  1. Brush your hair up to the crown with a little smoothing cream.
  2. Tie it there with one elastic, smoothing out bumps first.
  3. Take a thin strand from underneath the ponytail.
  4. Wrap it round the elastic until it is hidden.
  5. Pin the end underneath the ponytail.
  6. If bumps show, take the tie out and brush up again with your head tipped back.

The finished look

Front
Brushed smooth to the crown, no part.
Sides
Brushed up flat.
Back
Brushed up from the nape with no bumps.
You need
A brush, one elastic, a pin and smoothing cream. Five to ten minutes.
Lasts
Lasts all day.
