What to Ask Your Stylist for a Classic Bob
Say this at the chair
A classic bob: one length at the jaw, blunt ends, no layers, with a soft centre part.
- Top
- No layers. The length is the shape.
- Sides
- Equal length on both sides, ending at the jawline.
- Back
- Slightly shorter at the nape so the line sits level. No stacking.
- Styling
- Blow-dry with a round brush, or air dry with a smoothing cream. Five minutes.
- Grow-out
- Keeps its line for six to eight weeks, then becomes a lob.
